We walked along the river and didn't get a good vibe as there were a lot of construction and nothing really to look at.

We are living at about 20km to the Danube River and we are going for fishing every Sunday. It is a great place for camping, barbeques, swiming and sailing. Great place during the Summer.

A joy to cruise on the Danube and get to visit this amazing place. The scenery is fantastic and ever changing with little villages dotted along the shore

Took a walk along the Danube after dinner in Ruse. Stay in lit areas only, it can be dangerous if you stray.

Ruse is Bulgaria's biggest town on the Danube with its main port just East from the city. An important bridge (for trains and trucks) crosses the Danube to Romania. It is possible to walk all the way along the Danube on an old disused quay...More
