Beautiful beach

Magic sands is a beautiful but small beach very popular among locals for body boarding. We spent some few hours there and really enjoyed.

A lot of young druggies hang out here, so watch your personal possessions. Can have no sand i winter so pick an alternative beach. Very steep drop off, really for competent swimmers and boarders

This beach is great for getting pummelled by the surf. Not for small children but big kids love it for body surfing and just plain getting kicked around by the waves. This is a winter time activity as the beach is different in the summer when the surf is much smaller.

Great beach to spend the whole day at, lots of off street parking, volleyball, lifeguard ,beach and did I mention the ocean. Bogie board, body surf or snorkel. Don't leave before you see the Sunset from this beach an awesome way to cap off a great day.

Went here twice for snorkeing around the north end of the beach. Like most beaches, it will always be crowded and this is no exception. But the entrance to snorkel, or swim, or boogeyboard is perfect. Sand, no coral or lava, and the snorkeling off the north side around the corner was very good. Saw all sorts of fish and... More

This is very accessible sandy beach with easy parking. Some fish life near rocks. There is a lifeguard as waves can be large. Can sometime suf here. Very popular with locals.

We spent a Sunday morning here before our flight home that afternoon. We enjoyed really good fish viewing by snorkeling right off the beach. The beach is not very large and lots of people were there, making it feel pretty crowded. We still found space to lay out our towels and set up our umbrella though. A decent freshwater shower... Minimal waves breaking on shore, and easy to get outside the shore break so easy place to go for a swim. There are things to see on the shoreline, and there were snorkelers around. Has all facilities you need, bathrooms, fresh water shower and parking.

Lovely beach and closest best beach to Kona. Sometimes the tides swallow up the whole beach but when the beach is there, it's great swimming and people watching.

Beautiful sand and great place to relax and unwind. Waves a little rougher than what we like, so use caution. But definitely would go back. Also a very popular hang out for locals.
