Pretty white sand beach in Old Town Kona right along Ali'i Drive and in the midst of lots of condos, hotel, etc. OK for a quick dip but other more remote beaches are better for a longer stay.

Visited this beach while staying at Kona. A short drive south, it offers plenty of parking across the road and lots of shade too. I think a lot of the sand has been washed away because it differs from photos Ive seen. The water is...More

Depending on what time of the year you go it can be one of the best spots on Alii drive to enjoy the water. It definitely lives up to its name, at times there is no sand at this beach to enjoy, as mother nature...More

We stumbled upon this beach by accident and absolutely loved it. It's small and a little crowded but the water is exquisite. It's great for swimming but not so much for body surfing. It looks like you can really hurt yourself because of the short...More

I love this beach after a week or two of diving, this is a delightful place to deco before flying. Beach is clean, waves are good for body surfing, wonderful people

This is a small beach, but is pretty much uncrowded even on a Sunday afternoon. Great place to enjoy the sun, sand and scenery

Great beach, but be aware that the break is really close to shore -- so when it is big here it is not appropriate for children or poor swimmers. There are lifeguards during the day and lots of shade under trees. We've seen several turtles...More

It's a small beach with waves for the ones who like to surf. I just enjoyed watching them. Not the most beautiful beach but it was a short Uber ride from town and had some facilities too.
