Steve and crew of Wanna Dive have personalized, professional service for divers of any ability. We took their Manta dive night dive in Nov. 2011, and were completely "wowed" by what our DM found underwater for us. While the hordes who flock to the known manta sites were hanging around a light, waiting for mantas that did not come, our... More

My family went out with Steve for the Twilight/Night Manta Ray dive. The five of us had a big expericence range, all the way from first year diving to 40th year. They were great to work with, friendly, knowledgable and patient. The Manta Ray dive is definitely a "must" dive. Steve and Mike(DM) are great guys, and made sure we... More

We had a great time diving and snorkeling with Wannadive. This was exactly what we were looking for: small groups (max.6), personalized dive/snorkel trips, high standard dive equipment, extremely knowledgable and fish/reef loving crew. If you are a small group or family looking for serious diving, cool snorkeling and a relaxed atmosphere, go with Wannadive. Thanks Steven and Mike and... More

Went for a 2-tank morning dive. Super nice, personable, individualized diving. They were very helpful, amazing at pointing out things underwater, and just fun to be around. They take out a max of 6 people per dive... but it was a very cozy 3 total for our dive. The dive profile they set up allowed for a ton of underwater... More

I spent quite some time looking for a good dive company in Kona and was thrilled to stumble upon Steve and wana Dive. They are a really cute operation. I wanted a small operation as i was bring a few disco (first time) divers with me and wanted to make sure they got ample attention. Steve and group were great.... More

My husband my 10year old Daughter and I absolutely loved our Manta Night Dive with Steve and Mike! This was our first family trip to Hawaii(My husband myself and our 3 daughters) We were scheduled to meet at 4:30 to do a 2 tank night dive (one pre manta and the other the manta dive) when we had to take... We chose Wanna Dive the same as most people, small group, not a cattle boat. Steve takes only 6 and the boat is roomy enough for the divers. They are attentive to the divers needs, helping with the gear, and setting it up between dives. The dive briefing was the longest we have ever had. Out comes the fish book... More

My wife and I recently made a trip to the Big Island, and we wanted to make sure we did the manta night dive along with a couple of two tank day dives. Several Kona dive shops are well reviewed, but we chose Wanna Dive because we liked the idea of a small boat and lots of personal attention. Turns... More

We actually dove with them in early March, 2010, and thought I had written a review at that time. Oops. We had generally gone with another dive op when on the Big Island, but decided to go with Wanna Dive based on a recommendation from our local dive shop. So glad we did! There were four of us, eager to... More

We just got back to the mainland after taking our Advanced Open Water with Steve and his crew. While I felt the course was just a money grab from PADI, Wanna Dive did a good job in picking dive sites that made finishing the requisit dives fun. The DM ensured we saw sharks, octopus, eels and many beutiful mantas. With... More
