Our family of 5 had the time of our lives! We swam with a pod of pilot whales, snorkeled with beautiful fish and green sea turtles, and ended the trip with mama and baby humpback whales breaching! Darren and Jason were great - very friendly and informative. Couldn't have been a better day!!

Deron and Jason provided a trip of a lifetime. Diving in 4000 feet of deep blue with a pod of pilot whales is an amazing experience. Deron is a great captain and both Deron and Jason are extremely knowledgeable, fun and good story tellers. Highly recommend this trip!

What an amazing trip!! Captain Brett did an outstanding job getting us to the locations with marine life. Paul is very knowledgeable on the marine life, Hawaiian history, geography, and culture. We saw manta rays, turtles, jelly fish, pilot whales, got up close and personal with a white tipped shark, and lots of fish. Amazing trip with a great company!!!

Brett and Paul were great! Very friendly and knowledgeable. The snorkeling was fun and we saw manta rays and dolphins. Water was choppy, so there weren't many places to snorkel, but we found an amazing place to snorkel regardless. The pineapple was delicious and the chips, pop, and cookies were a good snack. The boat ride was very fun. Loved... More

As a diver coming to Big Island for almost 10 years I always wanted to experience the wild side of deep ocean during the day. WHOA was exactly what I needed. Jumping in the water and swim with pilot whales, and oceanic white tip shark (close enough to shake hands) several miles off shore in deep blue water is a... More

The guides were knowledgable about conditions and super off-the-path hidden spots, which isn't something you can get on a regular boat tour! They took us out to see mantas (which were enormous!), then to a hidden snorkeling spot. We cruised along the north AND the south coast Kona side. We even caught a few whale breaches nearby! The boat is... More

Second time our family took the WHOA morning adventure around the waters of Kona and Keahou. The ride is the fastest and most exciting trip on the water ever experienced (and I was in the Navy!). The WHOA team took us to seculded spots near shore totally inaccessible otherwise and that the normal dive boats do not frequent. We even... More

My wife and I are both 53 and we have a 15 year old daughter and a 13 year old son. I researched all the whale watching/snorkeling trips available on The Big Island and decided on WHOA! I am so thankful that we did! It was the most amazing experience you will ever have in the Hawaian Islands and nothing... More

This was such a great adventure. The water was a little wild the day we went out but that did not stop us from having an amazing trip. Brett and Paul were out to show us a good time even if the sea was not. The boat ride it self is so much fun. There were only myself and my... More
