Steve was a great guide; provided lots of information, met all our needs with a friendly and helpful attitude. You can drive to the volcano but you won't get the informative tour covering volcanics, plants, and animals. Well worth it.

We decided to watch the first sunrise of 2017 at the summit of Mauna Kea. Of course, mother nature had other plans. Unfortunately, there was snow and ice on the road to the summit, so we had to stay at the Visitor's Center. Luckily, they accomodated us quitie well, and we took a short hike to a nearby "hill" where... More

We took the Volcano tour as a bucket list item and were not disappointed. The tour goes between Mauna Loa and Mauna Kea volcanoes before entering the Volcano Park where Kilauea volcano is active...very active. We were able to see him magma spraying out of the ground, both in daylight and after dark. In between visits to the crater rim,... More

We were here with a corporate function. We signed up for two tours, the Waterfall hike and the Sunrise to Sunset volcano tour. Both days were amazing!! Taro and Peter were so knowledgable and personable!! They made the Island come alive with stories and facts, love for nature, and great energy!

This was a very good tour. We don't normally do tours and all the places visited we could have done independently but what really made this tour well worth the $165 was the wealth of knowledge of the tour guide - Kent. We were very impressed with the high level of knowledge and service throughout the whole tour. Highly recommend... More

Excellent tour, great guide (Taj). Only drawback is a long bus ride from the Kona coast resorts. No children under 12 for this trip unless you are meeting the tour bus in the Park.

Aloha Kurtis, Mahalo for your feedback. I would like to clear up a misconception here. We do take kids under 12 on our Twilight tour. We do not recommend this tour for kids under 9 due to the amount of drive time, however, If your kids are OK with long car rides we will absolutely take them, and we even... More

I have been fortunate to take my wife and two, now adult, daughters on guided tours of all sorts, including other zip line tours. Ashlee and Carla gave us an INCREDIBLE experience on the Kohala Canopy Adventure. Safety first with a big dose of humor and best zipping ever. Both guides were highly knowledgable on all aspects of the environment... More

We joined the Kilauea Lava Hike on late Dec. 2016 and it costed ~$370 for two people. It would have been exactly the same hike if we chose to go on our own. The tour didn't bring you any closer to the lava or offer you anything special or make you safer. We felt so stupid and so ripped off... More

We spent the day on a Twilight Volcano Adventure with Taj as our guide. It was an extraordinary day with an extraordinary guide. Taj's knowledge of volcanos, and geology, and wildlife and plant life (and more!) was outstanding. He made this a day to remember for our large family group. I'd go on any tour, anywhere, with Taj.

Our guide, Joe, really made this trip to the Mauna Kea summit. It's obvious he's incredibly passionate about astronomy and about Hawaiian culture. He spoke to us in great detail on everything from lava flows to Hawaiian folk tales to star creation in distant nebulae. It's freezing at the summit, but well worth it to see be surrounded by the...
