This was an awesome experience and Erica and Tiana were great and always ready to help. They were very knowledgeable and protective of the reef and the wildlife. A must do while on the Big Island!

Erica and Crew were spectacular. She drove that boat like a river rat on the Colorado stopping at the blow holes and lava tubes on the way up close and personal. Gorgeous! We hooked up with a manta ray that was just off the starboard...More

My wife, 2 daughters (11 and 18) and I booked a morning snorkel trip while on vacation on the Big Island. We have snorkeled other Islands and the Caribbean and nothing has compared to the experience that we got with Dolphin Discoveries. Capt. Daniel showed...More

A great outfit to go swim with the dolphins. We got very lucky and the dolphins were actually in the harbor the boat was launching from. We were able to spend over an hour snorkling with the spinner dolphins. The boat was small but good...More

I appreciated the emphasis on respect for the dolphins and environment. We had just six passengers, which gave us some agility getting to places where our captain (Mike) spotted dolphins. An unexpected bonus was the Hawaiian info/stories Mike told us about spots where we stopped...More

Our 6 pack turned out to have 12 people on the boat. At the site there were 12 boats and probably over 120 people splashing around. The dolphins stayed down on the bottom about 50 - 70 feet below us. Certainly not a swim with...More

What a great way to start our trip. The weather was overcast but we still really enjoyed it all. Our captain Mike was friendly and knowledgeable. We had the small boat to ourselves. We saw a manta ray, spinner dolphins and a big bunch of...More

We were told it was a 98 percent chance of swimming and seeing dolphins. The fact that we saw them in about 10 minutes was amazing!

Wife and I did this last year (dolphin and reef snorkel package) and loved it so much that we did it again this year. That in itself should tell you something. Very friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely enthusiastic crews both times. Very respectful of the animals...More
