This was a relatively quick visit, but something not many people get to do. It was interesting to find out that their function is to breed sea horses for sale so that people don't take them out of the ocean. The tour showed you babies...More

How often do you get to hold a seahorse? Just that in itself was a unique experience. The interactive tour was well run, the guide was enthusiastic, informative and kept us focused by asking us questions like "what do you think they eat" or "how...More

I'm so impressed with the vision and the victory of what they've accomplished -- to protect wild seahorses, they hand raise pets that will live a full life, happily together in captivity, bonded with humans. Very thoughtful, caring and friendly. A must see!

A good one hour tour of how seahorses survive. You actually can hold them towards the end of the tour.

Visit the seahorse farm to not only have an amazing experience holding one, but also to support a good cause. This facility conducts extensive research and helps other sea animals.

Yes, it's a little pricey for what it is BUT where else in the world can hold a sea horse? I was happy to pay a premium knowing that this organization does wonders to help sea horses and sea dragons in the wild. It was...More

Visited with our kids (8 & 10) and we loved it. Learned a lot, loved holding and feeding seahorses, and thoroughly enjoyed the visit. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but it's worth the (somewhat pricey) entrance fee. Seriously, where else can you...More

I visited here with my wife on our last day in Hawaii. Was a neat experience sure, but for 40 bucks a person, it is extremely overpriced. The entire tour took a little more than an hour. The guide was polite and fairly informative on...More

Was very interesting, who wouldn't love holding a live seahorse. Very informative and wonder what they are doing to help protect these little creatures

Appreciated information on American Seahorse. Got to hold one! Staff was very accommodating and knowledgeable. Answered all questions. May be pricey to some but well worth it in my opinion.

Most of the area surrounding the tanks is rock so it would be difficult to traverse with a walker and/or wheelchair. You also need to get right up to the tanks and peer in to see the seahorses. The tanks are probably 4... More

I think it took our group about an hour and a half to 2 hours max. At the end there are some aquariums with sea horses you can watch and the folks there will answer questions and chat a bit after the main tour/presentations. More

We had the same questions and even though we had driven past in on our way to our hotel it was hard to see until we were looking for the solar panels. I would just put the directions in your (or your grandsons) phone and... More
