The plan to dive the Manta area before dusk, watch the sunset while getting Manta dive briefing, and then dropping down in an area you already know is a great plan. Great experience from e-mails to shop checkin to dive boat.

Communication and professionalism both great. The office is nice and big but located a distance from the marina where the boat leaves from. Makes it harder if you don't have a car. Beca and Andrew were great. The wetsuits and other hire gear were in great condition. Unfortunately there were not many manta rays on our dive so we sat... More

My Husband and teenage daughter did the night snorkel with Manta Rays and could not stop raving about how amazing the experience was! They both said how awesome this company was and how they were super helpful. This experience and the company come highly recommended!

This is an experience that you can't miss if you visit Kona. The captain and our guides were fantastic. I would recommend the scuba over the snorkel if you can, but the snorkel was still amazing. If you only do one activity on your trip, do this one.

The Manta night dive was incredible! Matt & Becca took great care of us. Everything from check-in to the food to the night dive was well thought out and done. I will do this dive again with Big Island Divers.

I'm a divemaster who has dived extensively all over the world and these guys showed me a great time. Everybody I spoke to prior to coming to Kona told me to got Jacks Diving Locker, however after they were not very accommodating on getting me on a last minute dive, I instead found Big Island Divers and let me tell... I was lucky enough to do the twilight and manta ray night dives last night. During our manta dive we had 3 big frisky mantas congregating by our large lights. There were many instances where the big fellas would glide right past us. They were so close that their wingtips brushed my head on 2 occasions. If i do this... More

We went on a night snorkelling trip to see the Manta Rays. Well organised and friendly staff, Justin and Greg were knowledgeable and helpful guides. Excellent gear including high end 3mm long wet suits, not shorties! We got a great view of massive Mantas, hot chocolate and cookies for the way home - that's all there is the say about... More

This team is excellent. We dove "with" the mantas and loved the experience with Captain Chris and dive master Becca. The crew were fun on the way out and on the way back. As we made our way to the campfire we swam past 1 or 2 mantas who were obviously leaving the party and heading elsewhere! We sat at... More
