From Oahu, we book a 2h helicopter tour with Paradise, for which we needed to first fly to Big Island and later back to Honolulu. Not until we arrive in Kona did we realise that our travel agent miscalculated the timing of the activity and...More

This is our second helicopter trip on the big island of Hawaii. We went with another company previously and had a very good experience. Paradise was recommended by the Expedia travel representative at our hotel and she knew what she was talking about. We took...More

I generally get motion sickness and was pleasantly surprised at how smooth the ride was. Costco enabled my husband and I to each have a window seat and our pilot made sure each side got equal viewing time of the amazing volcanic activity.

It’s the best way to see the craters and the waterfalls. Absolutely breathtaking views. Our pilot was awesome. Just be aware that if you suffer from motion sickness, you probably should take the 45 min tour, not the longer one. Highly recommend this company.

We took the 45 minute doors-off ride to to erupting crater and lava flow into the ocean. The weather was great and we saw the bubbling lava in the crater and the glowing lava pour into the ocean creating incredible steam clouds. Our pilot was...More

First time I've done a no door flight. It was exciting but challenging also. If you are trying to take photographs it is difficult due to the wind. As far as being able to see sights it was very good. The views we had of...More

Ryan was a fantastic pilot. We toured the entire island of Hawaii and it was breathtaking. Everything from check-in to the landing was smooth. Ryan was very informative and made the ride fun. I would definitely fly with Paradise again!

Fantastic tour by Paradise Helicopters with very professional staff. Pilot showed us everything we could have hoped for including great view of volcano, lava going into the sea, enormous waterfalls in a huge valley and a WWII bomber stuck in the rainforest. Definitely one for...More

This was our first time in a helicopter and this didn't disappoint! Great tour, wonderful pilot, awesome views and lava to see. The only downside was that we couldn't keep going! I am small 5'4" and sat in the front middle #1 seat. I was...More

Hi. The pilot weight-balances the aircraft, so its entirely up to them. Ask for the front seat. I didn't pay extra, but my skinny 13-year old got the plum seat riding up front. The flights are always in the morning, as far... More
