We took a cruise in the Resurrection Bay and the views were amazing. Plenty of animals, whales, otters, sea lions, etc.

Although the boat tours don't make guarantees, we saw significant wildlife and interesting geology on our trip. We recommend the Major Marine cruises with their National Park ranger commentary.

Stayed in a cabin from Angles Rest . The view was spectacular! Water front and snow capped mountains were a site to behold. One of the best vacations ever! Plus, the scenic drive from Anchorage was awesome!

Went for a hike here, it is a relatively low level of skill hike. The scenery is gorgeous and we stopped on the beach for a snack we packed along.

This is some of the most untouched and humbling landscape I have ever visited, and I feel blessed to have had the opportunity to spend some time on these beautiful waters.

If you get there before the wind picks up by late morning, then it is a great place to walk the stone beaches and watch the sun rise... Can get windy in the spring and you get white caps on the bay so kayak early if you plan on it. A jogger pointed out some whales, and we saw seals,... More

Resurrection Bay is a beautiful Glacier-created fjord that is teeming with wildlife. During our bot trip we saw Hump Back Whales, Orcas, Sea Lions, Harbor Seals, Bald Eagles and wild Mountain Sheep.
