Best excursion we've ever been on. Our Guide Jarrod was excellent. It was surreal to paddle around glaciers. Jarrod even recommended Kincaid Park in Anchorage to spot moose. We went 2 days later and saw two moose. Thanks so much. The Smiths

We used Liquid Adventures to take a guided kayak trip at Bear Glacier. They took us from Seward to the glacier by jet boat - an amazing experience in itself. But then kayaking in and among all the icebergs was just indescribable! We saw one...More

This area is a must visit in the Kenai Fjords. SUP with Liquid Adventures is a great tour. Dress in layers, it was warm in Seward but cold in the Bear Glacier area.

We got here via the water taxi (a 50-minute ride). We spent three days on the larger island, as part of the Backcountry Safari sea kayaking tour. The area is GORGEOUS!! Be forewarned that you will likely get rained on. Also be ready for cold...More

This is pretty breath taking. You can see the huge ice chunks on the lake. I am sure it would be amazing to see them up close in a kayak.

Bear Glacier is just a short boat ride from the harbor and worth the trip! It's so beautiful, and you can get up close and personal! A wonderful experience!

We saw this glacier on a 5-hour cruise of Resurrection Bay with Major Marine Tours. The boat cannot get very close to the glacier so we saw it from a distance. It is not a tidewater glacier that "calves" off pieces but is a beautiful...More

This glacier is SO amazingly beautiful! It was incredible with its ice field and its moraines. A must see when visiting Seward.

Hi, I am trying to decide if I should book a boat or heli tour to bear glacier or if it is easily accessible by hiking - already have a different flight tour booked and trying not to spend too much more. Can you get to the lake/water that tours take people kayaking to by hiking? Are the views of the iceberg ok from the shore? Thanks!!

First I highly recommend kayaking Bear glacier lake , the experience is unbelievable , but the location is not that easy to get to. You cannot hike there. We did look into taking a boat there, there is one company that does... More
