We took a walk down on the docks before we went to dinner. There was an otter munching away on his dinner diving to pick up more and surfacing a few bays away. We could always find him by listening. So entertaining to watch. We...More

Great views as you walk the harbor. With sailboats in the foreground and the mountains as a backdrop, it's amazing. The walk is the first mile of the original Iditarod Trail, so it's fun to say we walked it. The paved trail takes you all...More

Lots of boats of all kinds just to stroll around and look at, but the highlight was seeing the catch of the day brought in, which was halibut. The biggest halibut caught that day was nearly 5 feet long and weighed 116 pounds. Beath taking...More

Very fun to walk and explore the area. If you're lucky you may see some cute sea life. We saw an otter and sea lion.

The boat harbor is a nice place to walk. The paths are nicely maintained and very clean. It's a free chance to catch a glimpse of marine life from the harbor.

Got to spend a couple days walking around. Very clean and quite. Saw otters playing in the waters and the sun rise and set was spectacular. Glad to have seen it in rain and clear skies.

What does it cost to ship fish from Seward back to Michigan? Any other way to do it? Probably doesn't go well as carry-on.

Sorry not sure but I think one operator said that it was free to Mainland USA. Cost of fishing charter is very high compared to Australian priced. Cost was approx USD $400 for about 8 hours.

I want to go Halibut fishing. Holland America docks there Aug 6, 17. Most likely date for fishing, the 7th.
