Very nice friendly informative staff. Visited during the off season which has somewhat limited hours. Called ahead to purchase admission plus sea otter experience tickets. Enjoyed the exhibits, the spectacular view of Resurrection Bay from the observation deck, and our 30 minute Sea Otter Experience. The sea otter experience was well worth the price. My son & I were the... More

The Alaska Sea Life Center isn't very big, but it's well done and worth the trip. Lots of great information about regional ocean life and ocean sciences, so you really can spend at least half a day here. The marine life exhibits are a great way to learn about local species. In addition, the building itself is a marvel, and... More

Went there with daughter and young grandson while other family went fishing. Wonderful exhibits of Alaskan sea life and birds you can watch from above and below the water. Very spacious. Some good hands on activities for the kids. Made some videos on my cell phone which my grandson still asks to see repeatedly. I have made more than 10... More

We visited this center on 6 Aug 2016. It is a very clean modern, educational, informative leisure time activity with close up views of one of Alaska's most interesting life forms. There are numerous tanks of live fish, birds and animals - some of which you can touch and feel too! Worth the price of admission. Also has a very... More

An Alaskan favorite, with some nice interactive educational exhibits. It gives an upclose view of what I actually saw on the drive that flanks Resurrection Bay: seals, sea lions, and otters.

Very informative. They manage to show bird and animals almost like they still live in the wild. Enjoyed it.

Between the harbor seals and the bird area with the puffins and the different ducks this place is awesome, the fish seem to really look at you and just hang there to take a good look. Amazing place to bring the whole family. The close up pictures you can get of the puffins and other birds are great.

This was one of our favorite Alaska experiences. It is a wonderful aquarium and teaching center. We also did the behind the scenes tour of the puffin habitat and got to feed the puffins and friends. We go to see the new hatchlings and watch them play. I highly recommend this attraction.
