Interactive museum great for children of all ages. Right underground in San Ramon's central plaza. Money plates are interesting along with art plates used. Gold souvenir shop is amazing. Worth the trip.

I'm not sure what was going on here...it may have been under renovation when we came because the only two things to see were a giant sloth and an exhibit on turtles hatching. You could see this in 5 minutes. I think it is more...More

They have anything from a replica of a Giant Sloth, art exhibits,music concerts, movies, activities for kids, various classes. among other things. There is something for everyone.

Maybe, every town needs a museum like this, whom, also has a concert hall and a great piano. The only trouble is that you cannot visit it on Sunday. It still a great initiative from the University of Costa Rica.
