We visited the Roseraie in mid May and was disappointed the roses were not yet in bloom. It wasn't however disappointing the sheer size of this attraction and would be an incredible sight once the roses are in full bloom. The staff are genuinely lovely and I am still so glad I made the effort to visit.

Probably in the summer when in bloom is really somethig for your vision, smell and even taste, as they have a pretty cute shop with everything made out of roses, if you are a fan, just go there, you won't regret it.

Hard to believe a rose garden could keep a non nature lover entertained but this place is in a word, special. The meandering walks thru a seemingly endless variety of rose bushes and topiaries was actually a very nice time. We are in the final stages of doing the yard in our new Greenville home so it was a great... More

This place was so fantastic to just wander around. Not only was it beautifully kept and quiet, but they even had an actual maze there where you could wander around and discover secrets. The attached cafe had friendly service, great food, and quite tasty tea. Overall just a lovely little place.

We visited La Roseraie as a family with three children (5, 7and 11) and my parents, and had a wonderful wander around the gardens for over an hour. There are winding paths that take you through lots of different kinds of garden, but all featuring fantastic collections of roses. We visited at the end of July, and clearly some had... More

If you can find the time, I especially recommend taking a peaceful break in the Roseraie de Provins with a glass of wine or a book. I don’t particularly care for roses but I was won over by the garden’s great design, expansive space, strategically placed lawn chairs, and general tranquility. What I most liked about the garden was its... More

It's a difficult one this. The idea of it is great. We went after some terrible weather for a week so understandably there were not many flowers - that I don't mind. What was sad though was that it wasn't kept very well. Many bushes needed cutting and weeds around we're quite bad. It is supposed to be divided up... More

It was not the rose season as the weather was still chilly at the time of our visit. We only took a walk and read the poster and reading materials about the Rosa Gallica (roses of Provins), browsing in the shop to look for rose products and foods from roses... Bought the rose soap, rose petal jam and rose honey.... More

If you expect the garden with full of roses everywhere then you are wrong. It is quite a large garden where there are many type of roses in all around the garden. Unfortunately during my visit there, not all roses are blooming. Garden itself is good, it is a relaxing to just going around it with family. If you visit... More

We went there at 10am as it opened, and spent two hours there. Hundreds and hundreds of magnificent roses in a very nicely landscaped setting. Ideal for mad gardening enthusiasts, not so interesting for children, perhaps.
