There is a lot of square footage to cover to see everything and it is crowded especially during cruise season. Be prepared to go early and to wait in line for things. But, it is absolute food heaven and my favorite place to go grocery...More

If you go to this market you MUST see the fish throw. The skill and humour of these guys is a blast. The market is huge and has something for everyone. Lots of colour and movement. I'd go back if I had time.

We didn't get to see fish mongers throwing fish but it was a very busy Sat afternoon. Lots of good shopping & food.

There are some overpriced shops for sure, but most sellers in the market have competitive pricing and great products. Just beware of weekends during cruise season. They have an evening market now on Wednesdays just for us locals :)

Two best things to see are all the flowers and the flying fish mongers. They also have a big selection of fresh produce items along with the usual market vendors. Food choices are varied and if you want standard fast food chains you can walk...More

I think they toss the fish off and on all day. There are lots of other talented performers at the market also. I try to have lots of dollar bills on the ready to show my appreciation to the artists.

Is there anywhere that we can store our luggage near here please? Our hotel is not in downtown and we have to check out at 12. Our flight isn't until the evening so ideally, somewhere central would be appreciated.

In my experience most hotels will hold your luggage for a day or so even if you've checked out. I'm not sure on options for storing luggage downtown. Sorry.

There is a nice elevator with windows that starts at the waterfront and runs through the garage, to the pedestrian walkway over Western Ave to the middle part of the market. On Western, it is on the west side of the road in... More
