Thanks to the Seattle Forum found within Tripadvisor, I was able to store my luggage for free at Nordstroms Downtown for FREE. We went to the Concierge dept and gave them 4 large suitcases to store. They will give you a baggage receipt that you...More

In a world where more and more of us do our shopping online in general and AMAZON in particular (guilty as charged on both counts) it's reassuring to know one bricks-and-mortar store, Nordstrom's, still offers an AMAZING customer experience. The downtown Seattle Nordstrom's is, of...More

This is the original Nordstrom! It's absolutely beautifully redone! I popped in for a $2.50 shoe shine, which is unheard of in this day and age! You can't go wrong! The shoe shine has been here since 1974, run by the same family ever since!...More

It's terrible to say that the flagship Nordstrom can not exceed 1/5, but that has been my experience on more than one recent visit. Staff is highly unlikely to approach you to see if you require assistance. When you ask a question, the response is...More

Despite a slow rainy day, I was treated like a VIP when browsing this weekend. The employees are top notch, and I ended up buying something great, on sale. We can't do everything on Amazon, so this restored my faith in retail stores, and going...More

If you like Nordstrom's and you're visiting Seattle then by all means it's worth a visit. It's right in the heart of downtown. Easy to get to and find.

Quality of clothing has gone downhill. Items in junior department had threads hanging loose and very cheaply made sweaters and tops. Clothes were very wrinkled and not appealing. What happened to Nordstroms? Mostly shop online for girl's school clothing but now easier to just continue...More

My trip to the flagship store was my first at Nordstrom. It was lovely with some very high end retail. It was so nice in fact that I was a little let down by every other Nordstrom I've been to since!

I was prepared to dump a bunch of cash today, but was basically ignored. I know it was busy with holiday shoppers, but sales people in the formal section and women's department were chatting and did not greet shoppers... service in the bar was horrible...More
