Seattle’s “must see” is now a “must do” following the Space Needle’s multimillion-dollar renovation. Glide onto The Loupe, the world’s first and only rotating glass floor, for never-before-seen views of the structure and the city. Lean into tilting...more

Going up here was one of the highlights to our USA Trip.. awesome views across Seattle and the Sound. I'm scared of heights so couldn't do the glass floor on the lower level, but just about managed the main level.
Awesome view! We went when it wasn't that busy and there was plenty of room to move around and take pictures of different views. Very clean, plenty of merchandise in the gift shop. After purchasing the tickets it did take awhile to get to the...More
Initially we had no intention of visiting the space needle after reading many of the reviews on trip advisor. However the day we went to the needle was overcast and dreary and there was no line so we decided to go up. The views were...More
Decent views of the city but way overpriced! 32 dollars for the view is way too much in my opinion. Also, avoid if you are scared of heights (the fact that there are no floors, will make it a terrible experience for you!)
Unfortunately we couldn't get in due to the renovation, but at the entrance they informed us, that they build a space lift :) It's an iconic attraction of Seattle, it was nice to visit this place even we could check it only from outside.
Get the city pass so that you can go in the morning and evening. They views are great. The revolving floor was excellent. There are other activities in the area so you could spend at least 3 hours there.
I absolutely love having dinner at the needle. Interesting and delicious menu. Good wines, desserts, and of course there's the stunning view as your table rotates giving you a sea, mountain and city panorama.

Hard to answer this. As others have noted beautiful both day and night. If you want a great day view of seattle, I would go to the observation floor on top of the Columbia tower (73rdfloor), much higher than the space needle. Its the tallest building in seattle. Then at night you can check out ther needle. Enjoy.
