My friend had a volleyball tournament here and it was absolutely perfect. Beautiful and clean beach, plenty of volleyball nets, open pit bbq’s, and a little cafe. Parking is plentiful and it’s just a perfect place for all ages.

When we want to relax, we drive along the end of 45th Street in Ballard, (North Seattle) which turns north and follows the shoreline, passing marinas and launch sites, ending in a park with sandy beach and nature preserve. Good all year around if you're...More

This is a go to beach park in Seattle, I like it a bit better than Alki because of all the views you get and the location is a bit more secluded than Alki, its a fun place, but its very busy these days.

Amazing views. Clean beach. A perfect picnic place. A lot of benches around. Fire pits for bonfires. You can fly kites, play Frisbee or just laze around on the beach. There are a lot of trees so you can tie your hammock too.

Once you find a place to park, you will love this beach. Amazing views of the Olympic Mountains. Big fire pits at night, new playground, great sunset views.

We love going to Golden Gardens beach and park. The views are stunning with the Olympic Mountains in the distance. There are beaches to lay on, walkways to walk on, and a cheery atmosphere. BBQ stations, too! We go for long walks there and chat...More

A larger city park with plenty of trees and trails...and beachfront. There are more fun things to do in Seattle but, If this is your style, you can't go wrong here.

This park is almost a neighborhood gathering place with the same families coming for years for picnics, dog-walking and summer swimming. A steep road down from the north will take you to the beach or a drive through Ballard and a turn to the south...More

Very hectic park with lots of people having parties and playing games, but a great atmosphere to be in for summer. Bring a cooler and some towels and you'll end up with a great day.
