Excellent for an escape from the city or for those interested in plants!

Terrific setting on Lake Washington and a great opportunity to escape the city to a park with a premier botanical collection. Totally excellent!

This is a lovely place to walk around and get some solitude. There are wonder trees and bushes especially in the spring when the rhododendrons and azaleas are in bloom. The park is small to medium so just a morning or afternoon could be enjoyed there.

The Washington Park Arboretum is full of tall old growth trees, beautiful plantings, and well-maintained pathways that will delight visitors of all ages who are seeking a pleasant natural experience in this urban setting. Even during the cold month of February, it's well worth a visit (be sure to stroll in the "Winter Garden", which offers blooms contrasting with colored... More

2 great walk and they're building the third. Very seasonal, but all can be a rewarding visit. Great flowers in the spring. Pacific Gardens at the South end is interesting and still developing. Lovely on a sunny day or bring rain gear and enjoy anytime.

Loved everything about this park, it's just beautiful. Well maintained, and very peaceful. We spotted a frog near the pond and plenty of large koi fish. A lovely place to take a few photos, for keen photographers like my husband.

Beautiful place and im glad we went there .I guess with all the rain they get is the reason that everything is so beautiful and robust.Worth the drive there. On the way there went over some bridge {having passed the exit} and saw a Bald Eagle sitting on a lamppost.Would visit again.

This is not my first time to this fine park. As a long time resident of the Seattle area I can say with total confidence that no matter what time of the year you visit you will see something amazing. The sheer numbers of the specimens assured that there are new and interesting things to be seen.. Get out and... More

The Washington Park Arboretum is a nice park. You can take a lot of nice walks and hikes while looking at the different plants and reading about them. You might even have a change of spotting some wildlife.

The park has beautiful natural foliage to enjoy autumn colors and free to stroll about with nice accessible paths. Note that the Japanese garden is an extra surcharge. Would be 5 stars, but with ongoing construction, parking is hard to manage.
