Just a short bus ride from downtown when you need to relax. Take the 545 bus and walk about 15 minutes. Then after you walk through the garden and the Japanese Garden if you wish, take the 11 bus back downtown.

Beautiful, green and easy to walk around. There are different trails around the park. Pick up a map to find the ones you like. A peaceful retreat in the middle of a bustling city.

It's a nice park, lots of shade, there are tracks in the forest as well as on a paved road cutting through the middle. Perfect place for a walk in nature!

We booked a room to facilitate participation in the Obliteride to raise funds for cancer reasearch at Fred Hutchinson. It was a very convenient base for the event.

There's a very limited amount of parking inside the park. The largest lot is at the Japanese Tea Garden. There's another one over by the info center. The last "big" one is just north of the info center but may be closed... More
