Located about 4 miles north of Seattle along the Lake Washington waterway, Fremont has a laid back vibe. Fremont is dotted with tech companies like Google and Adobe and many specialty bakeries, shops, etc. The Fremont Troll is with a quick look. Only had a couple hours to spend which was not enough.

Take the time to see this really neat attraction! Parking was a bit difficult but we squeezed into a spot nearby.

Freemont is one of the neighborhoods in Seattle that definitely warrants a visit. It's right along the "cut", so great for walking or biking. It has a Sunday market and if you're in Seattle in late come don't miss the Solstice Parade.

Fun outdoor art. Worth stopping by and snapping a picture. Freemont has lots of unusual outdoor art, couple that with the chocolate factory tour and it is a very pleasant afternoon

I love Freemont. From the Troll Under the Bridge, to the Lenin statue, you should definitely take time to visit this quirky, artsy section of Seattle.

The troll, the statue of Lenin, chocolate companies, street fairs and sales, it has a little bit of everything different. Worth a side trip to check it out. Listed on Google as the center of the universe. I think that was a joke, but you never know when you are in Fremont.

Those of us who live in Seattle are always glad when out-of-towners come to visit, because we can justify hitting all of the tourist attractions. Fremont, the de facto Center of the Universe, boasts a great little walkabout tour of several... ummm... unique locations. First, the Fremont Troll. You absolutely _must_ see this yourself, eye-to-hubcap, as it were (you'll see... More

It is pretty amazing sculptures under the over pass. It is a little out of the way, it is worth a few minutes to stop and checkout.

A little out of the way of the regular visit, its the hippy part of Seattle. If you have the time to go check it, its worth the visit and its not too far from the troll.
