The Seattle Center is the grounds of the 1962 World's Fair. It includes the famous Space Needle. From the Needle you have a 360 degree view. On the grounds is the northern base of the Monorail which takes you from the Center into downtown Seattle....More

All you need is about 3 hours to send at the Seattle Center. Great place to see the museums, visit the Space Needle, and enjoy the scenery. The Key Arena is also there but looks to be old and abandoned but I know the City...More

Seattle Center is where you can find the Space Needle, Pacific Science Center, IMAX Theater, and the MoPOP. The Armory is also located there and is a great place for a meal, warm drink, and clean restrooms. There is a beautiful fountain, an extraordinary playground...More

This is a great area to walk around and explore the beautiful sites under and around the space needle. Lots of free activities and a variety of vendors offer their wares and refreshments. Allow an hour to take in the sites.

There are multiple sites and museums to enjoy all in one place. Plan to spend the day here if you have never been. Be aware that each place charges a fee and try to buy ahead and combine offers to get discounted tickets. Many of...More

I've been here many times enjoying festivals at different dates, many choices on food court. Parking is expensive I'll suggest to park couples of blocks away be aware of parking rates some of them are crazy high.

The Seattle Center continues to host events nearly every weekend. It was built in the 60's to host the World's Fair. Some of the buildings from the fair remain, some have been remodeled. The Center House has been renamed the Armory. You will find a...More

On the map all the museums and sites look far apart, but they are really very close together. Get the City Pass and take them all in, if you have the time. The Bill Gates Foundation is right there too and its FREE! I would...More

We were on a Segway tour that went through the Center. We had Been to the 62 World's Fair and visited over the years, but somehow never saw the international fountain so it was fun to see that and all the changes.

allow at least 1 1/2 to two hours in Chihuly, and at least 1 1/2 for space needle. The lines at space needle can take 3/4 hour before you actually get to an elevator. mopop is 2-3 hours itself. So let's say, make it a day.

Yes, but for that, you will have to go to the Boeing factory, which is not at Seattle Center.
