Cool architecture.

Some of the most awesome homes (architecturally-speaking) in the Seattle area. Interesting place to walk around. Friendly folks.

A nice place to drive up to see great views of the waterfront and the city skyline. There are a couple small parks on the hill where you can park for free and get out to take pictures. Make sure to take a quick drive around the perimeter of the hill to get a look at the big mansions up... More

This is the place you want to be to take a picture of beautiful Seattle. Also, the houses here are incredible to see. Charming architecture and nice landscaping.

Seattle is a unit consisting of many localities as large, sprawling cities often are. Each locality has a unique character, Queen Anne perhaps more than most. It is part of a peninsula, facing one side onto the open sea of Puget Sound, on another Lake Union and the channel that leads into the Lake. The part of the peninsula that... More

this is where i'd live if i moved to seattle. and money was no object. even right in town, many seattle neighborhoods are so quiet. this one is a mix of older and newer homes, with a lot of families.

The hills, the history and lots of fun places to shop and eat. Our favorite restaurant, Oaxaca's has a location there, and afterward you can easily walk off your meal by trekking down up and down the hill. Make sure you grab a cup of java, from one of the many choice coffee houses and also, check out the Queen... More

From the Space Needle, it's only a short 2 km walk / drive uphill to Kerry Park on W Highland Drive in the posh Queen Anne district, then you save $22 per head !!! At this small park over a small cliff, you get a superb panoramic view of the Seattle skyline because the Space Needle icon and the harbour... More

So this northwest Seattle elite neighborhood and highest (named) hill in the city is the area for driving narrow, winding streets while gawking at fancy to quaint historic houses and mansions.

This is a nice drive but it can get a little crazy. The houses are beautiful (but not extraordinary). The streets are 2-way but many only have room for one vehicle at a time. I love to visit but, personally, this is not an area where I'd like to live.

A beautiful chic district in this lovely city. It is an area that can be explored either on foot or in a vehicle. We did both! (not to mention a bicycle if you are fit enough)! There are some really stunning residential properties here, many are quite unique, it is very easy to get over-whelmed by them and the amazing... More
