My late grandmother and stepfather are both buried here, so I have an attachment to the place. The view is lovely, and the old families that founded Seattle are all heavily represented. You'll also find Bruce and Brandon Lee. Be sure to take them some flowers. Easy walking distance to Volunteer Park and Capital Hill.

It is very beautiful here with all the flowers, the stoned paths and large trees planted here and there. As expected of a cemetery, it is very peaceful and quiet, which adds to its beauty. Also right outside the entrance across the street is a wonderful circular resting area with a shaded bench and a spectacular view of the city.

Probably more than 90% of those visiting Lake View Cemetery (excluding family mourners) come with the objective of visiting the graves of Kung Fu movie superstar Bruce Lee and his son, Brandon. But if that is all they see they are missing a lot. Although the mature trees now obscure some of the reasons the cemetery was originally given this... More

The main reason people come here is for the graves of Bruce & Brandon Lee. Take the no 10 bus from the downtown (it departs from Pine Street) to Capitol Hill - the cemetery is at the last stop. There's an office nearby where you can pick up a free map to help you find the Lee graves. They're actually... More

Beautiful is the best way to describe this experience. If you are a martial arts buff and ever watched a Bruce Lee movie, you should definitely visit this place!

We went on a June weekday. The weather was excellent. There were a few other people there, but hardly any compared to what I expected. The site is peaceful and quiet considering how close it is to live civilization. Bring a map to the Lee's plot if that is what you are looking for, as it is possible there will... More

Named for its view of Lake Washington, this well-kept cemetery features grave sites of famous Seattle pioneers, such as Denny, Mercer and Maynard. Those unfamiliar with Seattle's history have likely encountered the names, because they are attached to streets in the city. Princess Angeline, the daughter of Chief Sealth, Seattle's namesake, is also buried here as are martial arts star... More

i admit the only reason I went was to see Bruce & Brandon Lee's plots..it was nice that I did find it and took pictures, very nice. There were pennies and someone even placed a $5.00 bill there, not sure the significance of it though...beautiful headstones, nice memorial.

I visited this cemetery to see the legend: Bruce Lee (and his son's) grave. It's easy to find. It's at the far end, on the top of the hill (just look straight ahead after the entrance). Just look for the dozen or so cars and people because nobody else gets the attention he does (seriously, it's easy). You can drive... More
