Very well presented museum from a very unique artist. A great example of something original to the Pacific Northwest

Whimsical and engaging showcase of Chihuly's work. All sections are themed differently according to the artwork displayed, indoors and outdoors. Beautiful homage to this creative genius of glass.

By far my favorite place we visited while in Seattle, (although I was only there for 2 days for business meetings) Several of our group came over here later in the evening after our daily meetings and I was pleasantly surprised.... hadn't known what to...More

I was introduced to Chihuly during a traveling exhibit to Denver. When planning our trip to Seattle, this was a stop I could not miss. It met every expectation. I LOVED the exhibit. In addition to the glass sculptures he's known for there was a...More

Gorgeous exhibit of glass. Fabulous colors and shapes, well staged inside and outdoors in the garden.

Nice place to visit but the glass was way above my budget. The glass pieces were awesome. Something for everyone as far as variety.

This was at the top of our list of things to do in Seattle. We knew nothing about Chihuly, only that he was a glass artist famous for interesting public installations. What a treat to see these works in such grand scale. The ways in...More

Room after room of aesthetics! The glass art is simply stunning and makes for great photo-ops. Even if the price was slightly high, definitely worth the visit!

Interesting this is the number one rated place to visit in Seattle. This is the only reason we visited, and, honestly, felt it was a waste of time. We went in and probably spent about 45 minutes just taking a quick walk through the exhibits....More

An hour was plenty for myself. But I am also not the type to want to read everything at each exhibit and watch all the short movies they have. Depends on the group you are with. But I was out within the hour.
What kind of time do we need here?

I would probably recommend two hours if you want to stop and look at things, read the descriptions, etc. If you just want to view and appreciate, maybe an hour.
