The mall is bigger than you would expect from outside. It looks like one store front, but inside it's 5 stories. All of the common mall stores are there and it's a good place to shop!

This is the biggest and most convenient shopping centre in Alaska with a very huge variety of goods and souvenirs, departmental store and food court on the roof top. There something for everybody. I like it because GNC is there plus many other high end shops.

Up scale shops with penny's and Nordstrom. Several souvenir shops. Three levels with food court. Right downtown.

Went here with some friends for some shopping and food. The mall is located in the heart of downtown and was the best mall I went to in anchorage. I felt the mall was big compared to my home town mall. Plenty shops to wonder through, plenty gift shops for souvenirs. A nice food court at the top floor. The... More

The 5th avenue mall has a great atmosphere right in the middle of Downtown anchorage with many great shops and they have a food court on the 4 th floor that is very well kept and they have a variety of food choices. It is great to have food court that is not in the middle of all the shops... More

Buckle was the main draw for me. The rest of the mall had a good selection of name stores. This small Mall right in the heart of downtown in Anchorage. The mall is one of many places to visit in downtown Anchorage, so plan accordingly. This mall is all enclosed so Alaskans can have some place to go when it... More

We stopped in to this mall more by accident than anything; we were looking for a quick place to get a lunch as we passed back through town. The 5th Avenue Mall is a wonderful mall with "big town" appeal, but it also offers the full array of both big and small-town shopping. The center area of this mall is... More

It is bigger than it looks. I wish we had gone to it earlier on our trip. It has a really good food court. Wish we knew about that sooner. We probably would have eaten a few meals there. Had something for everyone on the family at more reasonable prices than the other restaurants around town.

Nice food court on 4th floor. Limited number of shops (at least for folks coming from Chicago, like us), larger stores are present like Nordstrom and JC Penny. Lots of ladies fashion shops, limited number of men's shops. Good local stores on souvenirs etc. Apple store is overstaffed in my humble opinion. Gamestore had enough for the kids.Actually, a pretty... More

I'm not sure why anyone would travel many miles to shop at a JCPenney or Nordstrom, but if you have that urge to shop, then this mall should satisfy. Many stores are the same as what you would see in the lower 48. It's 4 levels with a food court at the top. If you really want to see local... More
