We did not take the cruise do to time. The people at the actual cruise were helpful. The people at the boat rental were extremely rude and not at all helpful. The condition of the marina was dirty, poor condition and not taken care of at all.

90 minute cruise telling the geological history of Lake Mead as well as the history of the Hoover Dam. Even though the narration was taped, it was clear and easy to listen to. Great views of the walls of the reservoir and not really too close to the Dam but close enough? Drinks (soda, iced tea, beer, mixed drinks etc)... More

The scenery here is absolutely gorgeous - everywhere you look, there's amazing views with different colour rock and the great blue colour of the lake. And that's part of the problem with this cruise - almost everything you will see is a view you can see from land, albeit at a slightly different angle. And whilst the 1.5 hours afloat... More

We went on the sunset dinner cruise on Thursday April 8,2017' the ship left at 630 pm but unfortunately the sunset was shortly after 7pm making visibility of the dam minimal at best. The information they supply about the area is very informative and wish my kids had been along as they would have enjoyed this experience. The food was... More

Went on the cruise with 6 people that included 21 year old boys that were interested to learn more after visiting the Dam. Unfortunately the sound was not good and nobody could hear what was being said. We went on this cruise many years ago and it was very crowded. This cruise only had 16 people including us which should... More

One of the highlights of our trip was this calm and relaxing cruise. It takes you thru black canyon to the lake side of Hoover Dam. It's about 90 minutes and I got several gorgeous pictures. Well worth the short drive from Vegas.

(Vegas December 2012 ) we were on a tour that had first taken us to the etzel chocolate factory and next was the hoover dam, which was great! Then our tour took us on the desert princess ship. It was amazing! We both had a great time! The view from the ship was awesome! Just being on that water ,... More

As part of our Hoover Dam visit the Lake Mead boat cruise was also part of our day out. It was a beautiful day to be onboard a slow going paddle steamer. The scenery is stunning so I am so glad the boat cruise wasn't rushed. The cliffs a variety of colours due to the lake currently being 150ft lower... More
