The Orpheum is a beautiful theatre. Built in 1927, it has an interesting history. First it was a vaudeville theatre. Later it was used as a movie theatre. Today it's a space for live performances, such as the opera, Broadway touring shows, singers on tour, dance, etc. The architecture and decor are lovely. Look for magnificent chandeliers and lots of... More

The great variety of shows offered throughout the year makes this an ideal place to go to with your friends and enjoy the night. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Toilets are not always clean enough.

Everything we've seen @ the Orpheum has been top notch. If you're looking for a date night, family event or in town looking for something to do I highly recommend. There isn't a bad seat in the place. You can see the stage from any seat and hear them too. I love to see the little kiddos all dressed up.... More

The Orpheum brings many great shows to Omaha through the year. Built in 1927, the building is one of Omaha's Nationally Registered Landmarks. The building is beautiful. There are a lot of restaurants within walking distance which makes it great for dinner and a show. I'm not sure, but I think many of the shows sell out in advance so... More

Have seen many shows at the Orpheum-and enjoyed all. The acoustics are good-my only complaint is the seats are small and not comfortable!

The Orpheum is one of the cities oldest preforming arts locations. The history has been kept through out the theater over the years with updates that do not overpower the historic values. The acoustics are fantastic and there really isn't a bad seat in the house. My advice book a show and experience it for yourself.

Omaha Performing Arts venues offer great experience, whether is a historical old building like Orpheum Theater or modern Concert hall, such as Holland Performing Arts Center. Accommodations are great with per-function areas and socializing spaces. In addition the varieties of performances from concerts of individual bands or popular Broadway cast, to famous musicians to featuring rising local starts provide a... More

Very beautiful the building it's seems the years hasn't pass by. We went for the 2014 Rockettes Christmas show and it was amazing!! It looks like everybody knows each other when locals go to the Orpheum. The staff was ok not really very friendly as we expected but it was fine. The seats on the second level was kind of... More
