One our way back home from the eclipse viewing, our group of seven with four boys (ages 10-14) made a point of stopping here to add a little more education to our trip. It's a first rate museum and I wouldn't miss their short films/multimedia...More

This was our first visit to the Museum. We took our 9 year old grandson. The museum is a must see for not only children but adults as well. A sense of history and education of the life of Lincoln was overwhelming. There is much...More

When close by Springfield Illinois, a must stop and see well worth the admission price. Allow some time because so much to see and shows that you may see as well. Very cool for everyone.

I was expecting to just see some history and artifacts but the way they presented it brought you into the life of Abe and his struggles. The vicious attacks he endured politically really looked a lot like today's political shredding of Trump. The struggles the...More

We spent a couple of hours there. So interesting and we did not see everything they had to offer. Shocking to see the political cartoons about President Lincoln! They even did it back then. It was a wonderful experience. Thoroughly enjoyed it!

Large, modern. Expected to find more - but what is there is very well done. 2 hours is ample. The library was closed the day we visited.

Budget about 3 hours. Mixture of hologram, live docents, and well marked displays. The scavenger hunt for kids made it much more fun for our 10year old. Beautiful dress collection. Did feel like we couldn't see everything. Nice afternoon

We were with a 9 year old who likes Lincoln but his attention span lasted about 2-3 hours. If all adults I would have read more and probably done 3-4 hours
