The Museum is terrific. Many life size dioramas. Lots of good information, colorful displays, and people available to answer questions. Well worth visiting. The Presidential Library is strictly for research with only a few paintings on display to the public.

The museum was very impressive. The attention to detail was impressive and methods used to brin Lincoln's story to life for us was much appreciated. I was almost moved to tears a few times. Allow at least 2 hours in order to see everything.

This is a must see if you're in Springfield. I would put it into the same category as a Smithsonian museum. There are theater shows that are included and they are Incredible! The graphics and special effects are very impressive. This museum is packed with...More

The library is for researchers; the museum is for visiting the exhibits. Two short movies offered. Objects from Lincoln's time, dresses, walk through diorama, editorial cartoons from the time. Fee.

Fabulous selection of Lincoln artifacts and stories. Accessible for all needs. I especially liked how the experience sought to show the difficult times and Lincoln as a man as well as politician.

Volunteers are wonderful sources of information. The shows are fabulous! Ghosts of the Library is state of the art! The presentation and context is excellent. We spent 3 and half hours there and then had lunch around the corner!

We decided to go here after seeing how busy the Dana-Thomas house was with students. Of course there were even more students here but everyone was well behaved and we had no issues. The museum was very interesting with great insights into the man and...More

We were pleasantly surprised at how well done this museum is, with displays that should be of interest to almost all ages. I learned that there were plenty of Lincoln detractors and they were just as nasty as any today. There are plenty of docents...More

Well done exhibits on Lincoln and his family. Covers his life from boyhood to president. Nice shows - the Ghosts of the Library is particularly impressive - the one thing I definitely wouldn't miss

We were with a 9 year old who likes Lincoln but his attention span lasted about 2-3 hours. If all adults I would have read more and probably done 3-4 hours
