Well used trail. Mostly level. A bit scary near construction. I wish I lived near here and this was my route to work as it is for so many. Great to see rowers and scullers and sailors on the river.

It's a great bike path with great scenery in a very bike friendly town. There are areas of construction that make the ride dicey for riding with kids. Plenty of stops along the way.

Beautiful path along Charles River with Boston skyline as a backdrop ! A great ride or walk, as you can start on one side and come back on the other side of the river to your starting point !!

We used a part of this system on our bike tour of Boston. It gets you out of the busy car traffic and amongst some solitude. Watch out for oncoming hikers and bikers and ducks!

parking is always a problem in Boston. use the parking in your hotel.
