Usually Mr. G. seems distracted by flights of metal. This time, he merely wobbled about, but very creatively. Very interesting building to see/visit. Inside is as practical as outside in other dimensional. Probably leaks somewhere but got to give it to him, he does take...More

I would say that is a strangely constructed building verses innovative. As it seems to have almost been designed by Dr Seuss but without the fun colors. Also you have to almost go around the whole thing to find the entrance that states it is...More

MIT has some interesting architecture and this building is one of the most interesting on campus. A prime example of deconstructivist architecture, the building houses multiple departments and the MIT museum of hacks (practical jokes of rather impressive designs).

It is definately worth a visit if you are interested in architecture. The buildings are incredible, you can't figure out how they are standing.

As an architect, I very much appreciate the creativity of Frank Gehry. When MIT asked for a learning center like none other, they got the Stata Center. It's purely a work of art and is not necessarily designed for efficiency. It is an extremely complicated...More

Inside is ordinary. Maybe that means it is a good work of architecture. It is Frank Gehry. Nothing really to see inside. Very creative and very Gehry.

Gehry does not disappoint with this building. It's exterior is beautiful and audacious and appears different from every angle. I like the use of different materials and colors and the fact that there is green space on one side so you can stand back and...More

Take in the building inside and out. The inside spaces create varied and creative space usage. All this to encourage the intellectual and visual experience.

Went here for a business meeting and then we had a quick tour of the area and the building... Super-cool and amazing people all around! Heart-beating of modern technologies here! I'd like to come back here more often!

What perfect place to have a Frank Geary building in the Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence faculty. MIT figures very highly in this discipline. You can mainly see the building from the outside, which is most impressive.
