This beautiful art gallery opened on the Courthouse Square in Johnson City in 2005, featuring a stunning collection of contemporary fine art by over 30 established Texas artists. The largest wine selection in the county offers wines by the taste, glass, bottle or case. Besides the main gallery there is a lovely tree lined, 1/3 acre creek-side sculpture garden. One of a kind artist made jewelry is also a specialty. Receptions are held from 1-4 every Second-Sunday (with live music), and every last-Saturday from 4-7.

I have long said if you want me to purchase art you should give me a drink or two when I am looking at it This place does just that. They do wine tastings as well as wine by the glass that you can enjoy while you peruse the gallery. The owners are kind and fun people to talk too.... More

0This is one of the many newly renovated stores in downtown Johnson City. The community and its retailers are taking the lead in re-doing and substantially improving the retail space in the city. When I was previously there 17 years ago, there were a lot of older stores often featuring less than high quality merchandise; however, things are much different... More

We went into the taste of wine and art store and was a little taken back by the staff who was not very hospitable to us. They do have an array of art paintings on the walls if you were very very cute but with the way that they spoke to us we weren't very inclined to spend our money... More

We recently had the pleasure of visiting Taste Wine Art. It is not an actual vineyard, but the quality of wine they have surpasses all the vineyards (5) we have visited in the area. The friendly, knowledgeable gentleman who served us made it a fun time. He doesn't carry all Texas wines, just the ones that pass his muster. He... More

Warren is very knowledgeable, laid back, and has great stories while presenting an excellent variety of wines. We had fun.

We had a wine tasting with Warren and it was fantastic. He is so knowledgable about wine! We tasted 6 wines and learned more than I had in years. My philosophy is if I like the wine, I drink it, but Warren taught me why I like different wines. Our time in Johnson City was well worth every minute!

Stopped by when we saw the "wine tastings" sign out front and wandered in to this sweet little place. Looked over the cool jewelry, and we were on to the tasting. The owner surprised us by having a very nice selection of wines from around the world, starting with a nice Shiraz from South Africa. I liked that he asked... More

I enjoyed spending time here as part of an art walk and wine tasting. The art ranges in price but is affordable, and the handmade jewelry is very interesting with lots of styles to choose from. You can find something here you will love to own.

We took a wine tour and they made this one of our stops. It was the highlight of our tour. From the outset it looks like a small bar in an art gallery and it is, but the knowledge of Warren the sommelier behind the bar makes it all worth it. If you're serious about wine and/or want to really... More
