I love this place. This was my second visit, and, apparently, they have recently changed the name from the Virginia Historical Society. Parking is free and the museum is free. Of course, exhibitions cost extra. I saw the WWI exhibit this time ($10); it was...More

This library/museum offers a lot of information not only on Virginia history, but early U.S. history. Some of the displays were very interesting, especially the toy display from the 50, 60 and 70s

This museum is free for military until summer starts. Nice gift shop and a well consolidated taste of Virginia history. Free parking. The whole area is significantly less crowded on Sundays.

We had never been to an I-Max movie, so we took advantage of its availability. It was a fun experience, although the choice of movies was limited. Also, the price is high - $9.00 for adults.

This museum has a fabulous collection of Faberge creations. I'm always enchanted by the delicate work on the dandelion-gone-to-seed. Using spun glass, diamonds and rock crystal it looks as if you could actually blow on it and create a flurry of feathery filaments in the...More
