I drove down to Richmond to see the excellent special exhibit, fifty plus works by Romare Beardon, at the Black History Museum and made sure I took in the interactive displays on the first floor. Excellent interactive exhibits let's the user choose between Virginia black history or national timelines. Beautiful photography enhances the user experience. Can't miss the history lessons contained in this museum.

We have lived in Richmond as immigrant citizens for more than thirty years. We have watched it change and gradually tried to piece together some of the story but there has been no coherent single way of seeing the thread of black history.
