We prefer to pay for a wine tasting so that there is no pressure to buy and picked this on the basis of the reviews but to be honest it was just OK rather than a great experience. we paid 15 euros to have bread, olive oil and a small plate of meat & cheese with the wine tasting .... More

We went here based on previous reviews. The hospitality was ok but nothing special, the wines are ok as well but also nothing special and finally we found our white wine in the supermarket well below the price we paid at the winery. The price winning white (2014) we did not get to taste (only the 2015) and that is... More

When we first arrived the lady who attended us seemed cold, but soon warmed up and we ended having a great wine tasting experience, bought several wines and the olive oil. As a mother, I was surprised to see the thoughtfulness of a play area. Wine is great. Must get the DOCG.

This is the most famous winery in the area and definitely one of the best. Warm hospitality from the girls and very good wines only for 5€. Don't forget to taste Arnaldo-Caprai 25 Anniversario, Sagrantino di Montefalco Riserva.

This is a slick, modern vineyard with state of the art wine making procedures. Almost everything was automated, taking a little of the romance out of the process but resulting in consistently good, well-judged wines, majoring on Sagrantino, either by itself or blended with Sangiovese and Merlot. The tour and tasting costs 10 Euros which is deducted if you purchase in... I expected this winery to be ostentatious and cold due to the size and popularity but we were pleasantly surprised. We had an appointment but it took a while to get to us as they had a dinner party that evening. Once we started the tour, they were very attentive. We stayed over 3 hours and they let us try... Most people drive, others get there on a tour bus. We walked. Walked from the center of Montefalco - part of our self guided hike week. Why? Capri reputation, and courteous responses to our e-mail inquiries a month before. Sounded like a good time. We were not disappointed. Walking up the long entry drive made me feel like I was... More

Having tasted a selection of wines in a bar in Assisi we wanted to try some first hand and see the wine making process. We arrived, without booking and were accommodated in a tour that was taking place in the next half an hour. The lady who led the tour was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. We were... We went here to buy wine from one of the best Italian wine estates. Great reception and beautiful domaine. This is a must go place if you love wines.
