For a day trip this is one of the best places you can visit in Portugal. 1 hour away from Lisbon, you can enjoy a great day by the beach, or climb to the highest point in the island and just enjoy the peaceful views...More

We visited this island as a family. Best time I think would be late morning as the weather tends to be cloudy in Peniche in the morning. There is a small beach and a walking trail. We enjoyed the grottos tour as well.

It is an impressive island in the middle of the Atlantic. It takes around 30 minutes and cost around 18€ in a bout that you can take from Peniche. It has a little beach that normally has too many people but is worth going. Another...More

The Berlengas was one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever traveled. Berlengas offers short treks, crystal blue waters, kayaking, swimming/snorkeling as just some of the activities to experience while visiting the historic fort. I highly recomendaron this tour! I already wish to be back...More

Berlengas natural reserve is home to thousands of seagulls, wild lizards and floras. This island is 40 mins away from peniche, ferry ride wasn’t as bumpy as I had heard. Clouds thankfully decided to go away after 12 and we were able see beautiful shades...More

A nice surprise, specially if you like nature and birds...they are everywhere... A very tiny beach but the scenario is wonderful! You got fresh drinks, beer, food... a bit expensive from mainland... but acceptable... if you can bring at least water!! I'm sure you«'ll make...More

This place was pretty spectacular. However, we did visit the Cies Islands in Spain a few days prior and preferred those. We felt that the Berlengas was far too busy and there doesn't seem to be any type of protection in place for the islands...More

Berlengas is natural beauty. The island is a hopping area, but the end of the island is a masterpiece of nature.

Hi - 6 h is not too long. There is a nice walk, little restaurants at the port and you can book a snorkeling or boat tour into the caves. Like this the 6 hours just fly and you will be sad to leave already 😉
