Suicide Six is the right place to take your kids for a nice family day of skiing. It is small enough to always find your group, but large enough to offer trails of varying challenges. The lodge is comfy and warm, and offers great views of the slopes. There is a new quad lift so usually there is no line.... More

Thank you so much for joining us at Suicide Six and sharing such a nice, candid review! You’re right that Suicide Six is perfect for families, with trails about equally split between beginner, intermediate, and advanced. The lodge is spacious and comfortable; the food’s terrific; and “every trail leads to home!” In 2016-17 we added a new quad chair lift... More

If you want to ski without huge crowds, check out Suicide Six. We spent the past weekend at the Woodstock Inn & Resort (OUTSTANDING) and Suicide Six is affiliated with the resort. About a 5 minute drive (or shuttle ride- provided by the Inn if you desire), it's a nice size, family mountain. I say family because it is definitely... More

Thank you for another great review! We’re so glad you enjoyed at Suicide Six, as well as a day at The Woodstock Nordic Center and of course your weekend at The inn! Suicide Six is a perfect family ski area and a real throwback to skiing in a friendlier and more relaxed era. There are much larger places to ski... More

Ski Suicide Six on weekdays with an adaptive group and then have time for free skiing. The terrain is varied with good beginner trails and a few steep or ungroomed trails for more experienced skiers. Lodge is well kept and food is good and not too expensive. Walk from parking lot to lodge is easy. A true Vermont skiing experience.

Thank you so much for skiing with us at Suicide Six and singing our praises! We are thrilled to host adaptive skiing programs, as well as “Ski Runners,” the oldest youth ski program in America; and of course the Vermont Special Olympics, which we’ve been fortunate to host for the past several years! That said, we’re with you: whether you’re... More

Lots of fresh snow made for a really fun day at SS6-- my favorite place to ski. Base lodge has a great bar/ restaurant for apres-ski and lift line were never outrageous.

Thank you for joining us at Suicide Six, and for the first review of the 2016-17 ski season! As I sit writing this, it’s snowing lightly in Woodstock and the conditions, both at “Six” and the Woodstock Nordic Center just keep getting better! We’re excited about our new quad chairlift and looking forward to another terrific season. We’re glad you... More

Yes we paid more than $100 for my son but he had great teacher and experience. It is kids and family oriented, will go back again surely.

Don't br scared by the name "Suicide Six" as the area is anything but dangerous. This is a small ski area that is a good place for families. It reminds me of Bousquet Ski area in Pittsfield, Ma, with nice gentle slopes and a few meandering trails. This is not a challenging area; don't go if you are looking for... More

They certainly make the most of what they have. It's a small area but there are slopes for all levels. Good snowmaking and grooming. We have been season pass holders for three years. Friday afternoons is local elementary school time so don't plan on going then....

I've lived less than an hour from Suicide for 25 years and never bothered, until today: last sunny day forecast for a week, business in Woodstock, so why not try it? Only two slopes open, snow being made and graded everywhere, but the snow on those two slopes was wonderful! What a place to romp while most areas around here... More
