This is a must among the Grazalema hikes. You need a permit (free) from the National Park Administration. Some travel guides say you need to go the El Bosque and well in advance but that is outdated information. We got ours for the same day right at the Tourist Information in Grazalema with no problem at all. However, we went... More

This was a nice hike, alternating walks through pleasant farms and fairly stiff hiking up rock strewn slopes.

From Grazalema you can make beautiful hikes. Rocks, beautiful scenery, vultures, rivers, mountains, everything in place. The tourist service in town is very helpful and can provide you with maps for hiking.

It is an amazing, easy and funny route. I recommend to do it on spring season, because you may view a strange flower is called Peonías. Also, I recommend to wake up early in the morning because you can see some typically vulture. It is very easy, children may do without problems

Nice to have it explained how the chasm came about. Good to know about the different types of rocks involved. Lots of cars stopping to take photos, and unfortunately somebody relieving themselves - but otherwise beautiful view

We hiked to the Salto del Cabrero in 2013, from Benaocaz, which is a lovely walk. You have great views but don't actually see the Salto del Cabrero itself. This year (2015) we hiked from Grazalema to Benaocaz and viewed Salto del Cabrero from a distance; what a superb view! Recommended walk, although we had to go with s huge... More

Due to lingering problems with the first section of the trail that passes through private property, the trail is closed until further notice for reasons 'beyond the Park's control'.

Since easter 2014 this footpath is closed. Part of the path goes through private property and the owner has finally given up talking to the park authorities about helping him with the 2000 or so people a month that walk through his land leaving gates open, walking with dogs that hurt his livestock and various other problems. Hopefully sometime soon... More

Stunning scenery, good trails, fantastic panoramic views from up high. Great variety of flora, birds - vultures, chuffs plus lots of other birds and animals - ibex, goats, cattle

The walk from Grazalema was pretty easy but very rewarding in terms of scenery. We especially liked the variety of terrain and the Salto itself was worth the extra little detour off the main track.
