Three of us paid close to $72 to visit these gardens in early May for what effectively ended up being a walk around an Orchid House and some woods. Aside from the Orchid House, there were precious few other flowers in bloom. We actually saw...More

I visited the ABG on a Saturday. Lots of visitors, but not uncomfortably crowded. There are acres of exhibits, all meticulously groomed. Lots for kids, also. There is a restaurant and snack bar. No senior discount, but I got a AAA rate.

We had an absolutely wonderful day with my mom at the gardens! We went first thing in the morning, which was the best way to do this. Of course it was going to be busy, but first thing in the morning allowed us to beat...More

I was truly amazed at the Imaginary worlds, there are 12 different sculptures to see from story books to dragons, to camels and peacock and lets not forget the shaggy dog, each just as amazing as the last. My favorite one was the goddess. Impressive...More

The big living flower sculptures that they have created are outstanding. Saw a lot of plants from other countries that have never seen before so that was cool. If you are into botanical gardens then this one will not disappoint you

The restaurant is lovely. Tried gritts for the first time and made friends with the waiting staff. A good giggle, ask for Bri!

Big enough to take a couple hours at a leisurely stroll. Indoor and outdoor gardens. Specialty displays. Lots of shady spots to take a break. Bring a frozen water with you.

In general I love Botanical gardens. The Atlanta Botanical Garden is a bit small, but that doesn't mean it isn't gorgeous, or worth a trip or 12. They often have concerts and poetry reading, as well as other activities. Remember, this is an in-town garden!...More

One afternoon we headed north from the Martin Luther king junior national monument to visit the Atlanta botanical gardens. We got there at about 1 and left at 3 and didn’t get to see it all. Being from Canada we thought most everything would be...More

We went in May 2018 when they had a special exhibit of figures made of plants, not topiary by wire, mesh and plant creations. Interesting and unique. Those special exhibits were placed around the grounds so you actually saw the entire garden by following the...More
