Love the gardens and love the seasonal events. We live a long way away and always call, but often no one answers the phone or we will get there and it is closed for a special event. We have a yearly membership but always have to pay extra for special events--not sure what my membership is paying for -members don't... More

The restaurant food tasted good, what there was of it. A small glass of house Chardonnay should not cost $13.50. My roasted beet salad for $9.00 was barely enough for six bites. We were so disappointed!

All the tulips were out when we visited which was a bonus, lots of volunteers on hand to answer and questions and were extremely helpful. Orchids exhibition was also very beautiful. Sadly the earth goddess was not planted, which was a disappointment but presumably it was the timing of our visit.

I thoroughly enjoy going to the Atlanta botanical gardens. I really don't understand why it so expensive, but it is a wonderful place to visit. I will say that one of our group wasnt into gardening. He was bored out of his mind! Gi ti wnjoy, get ideas, take pics. If you like gardens, you will really appreciate these gardens.

Plan to stay 3-4 hours to take in all the beauty. Tulips blooming in March...Wow! The orchids were also in bloom and smelled wonderful. Pocket sitting areas throughout to stop and rest or just take it all in. Cafe had healthy options. For those who enjoy being outdoors and appreciate the wonder of nature, this is your place.

We visited during their Christmas New Year Holiday Festival of Lights. A lot of people, fortunately we were early. The lighting was excellent with an interesting variety. Pictures tell the story best.

We didn't allot enough time to this garden but you can probably spend hours walking around if you enjoy botanical gardens. There were a lot of pretty sculptures and flowers. It is a bit further away from the other attractions in Atlanta so you may want to drive to this location. We found it difficult to get find a taxi... More

This is a great venue and there is much to enjoy. The best will not show up in bloom till April but meantime this is still a great place to enjoy. See the orchids.....they are always beautiful. Restful and enjoyable but requires some walking to see the best displays.

I just made my 2nd visit to the Botanical Gardens, even though it was a wintery drizzly day the gardens were beautiful. There was so much activity going on with getting the spring flowers and the Orchid Show underway. Lunch at the excellent cafe at the gardens was an added treat. Don't miss this spectacular garden.
