Lots of interesting shops and good restaurants to be found here. The area is well established as an Atlanta must try. Surin Thai, Atkins Park and Taco Mac indicate the range of options and pricing to be found here.

Neighborhood best explored on a Sunday morning. The corner of Virgina & Highland is the center of activity. Try Murphy's or American Roadhouse for breakfast.

I joined some family for dinner in the Virginia Highland area. You can find laid back dining, upscale dining and dessert shops. We had tacos then walked to Italian eatery to get gelato. I got a cannoli which was excellent.
