This is an Alternate Life Style Neighborhood. If you are homophobic don't go. The shops are cute, the eateries are subject to favoring the LGBT crowd, you must have a open mind.

L5P is one of the most diverse places in Atlanta. All walks of life in one location eating, drinking and shopping. Over the last few years, the presence of the afro-punk alternative crowd has definitely increased. Nice place to grab a coffee or lunch on Saturday when visiting ATL. Especially if you want to see the locals

My husband and I went here to look at the Junkman's Daughter, which was recommended for unique shopping. This area definitely is unique. There are lots of shops, and eating places. We didn't experience as much as we'd like, because of lack of time, but it seems like a fun place to spend a couple of hours.

This place needs to be cleaned up and better taken care of. It is literally scary after dark. I would not recommend a family visit here.

Eclectic shops and restaurants surrounded by lots of colorful grafitti and murals and even more colorful people. Walking here from the nearest rail station is a few miles, some of it kind of on the sketchy side, so come during the day and take your time to wander and poke into the various breweries, bars and shops.

A couple of rows of shops and restaurants with interesting art displays on the exteriors and interiors of the building. I liked getting into random shops and see out-of-the-ordinary things that'll surprise you. From costumes, to drawings, decors, party stuff, accessories and what not. As a tourist I suggest you come here and walk around at daytime to appreciate the... More
