The exhibitions are interesting and well designed. They are placed chronologically and culminates with the on- going initiatives with which the Carter Center is currently involved . I especially liked Vice President Walter Mondale's quote highlighted towards the end that reads: "We told the truth. We obeyed the law. We kept the peace." Laudable.....especially poignant in today's political climate.

Presidential library are so interesting to me. Not only do you get to know the man behind the presidency, you also get to know the family, a time in history or see gifts from other countries. I enjoy visiting them! This was not exception. I got to see what a kind, hard-working, humble man Carter was/is. I spent about 3... More

It was my first time visiting a Presidential Library and I was impressed by all the planning and work that has been done to museum/library. The staff is always updating and improving the displays of the life and work of Jimmy Carter and all the ongoing projects his foundations have all over the world. The grounds are definitely worth exploring,... More

We have seen nine of the National Archives Presidential Libraries. This one had possibly the nicest grounds. I'm sure it will be fabulous in the spring and summer. The presentation of materials was easy to get through and informational. It is to the east of downtown Atlanta and fairly easy to get to.

This was my second visit but years apart. This museum is so nice, so classy. The grounds are so attractive. Jimmy Carter and Rosalyn are just good people and this was evident in the displays. The museum is just impressive from the grounds outside with the water pond, rose garden, and 50 state flags to the impressive and very informative... More

We went here because we try to honor our previous presidents and their libraries. We left shaking our heads and saying we had forgotten how much he did in 4 years in the White House and then were amazed by how much he has accomplished since he left the Whitehouse. This presidential library is very well laid out and will... More

Our visit to the museum was very interesting. The layout of the displays is well done and are interesting without being boring. We had a very nice afternoon visiting the museum. The cafe also has good sandwiches. All employees were very friendly and helpful

Prior to my visit, my memories of Jimmy Carter and his presidency centered on the terrible situation that occurred during the Iran hostage crisis. The visit to the library and museum gave me a much broader historical perspective, including the fact that the hostages were released after significant negotiation, obviously with the Carter administration. I had mistakenly thought the Reagan... More
