Nice little park

Quiet little park that's pretty nice, located decently close to Downtown. Would recommend going just for a morning stroll of something, but nothing much to see in the area.

We lived in Grant Park for seven years and our house was two driveways from the Park. We have a recumbent tricycle for adults (named Trina, lol) and we used to take Trina Tricycle to the park to ride. The Zoo is not very big and no great shakes, but the Park is just lovely. Peaceful, relaxing, in the middle... More

I am fortunate enough to know people in this nice neighborhood who have let me stay in their stunning Victorian home. This neighborhood is filled with charming homes in wonderful condition, many of which with expansive front porches. Almost unheard of in new neighborhoods, Grant Park has sidewalks, encouraging people to get out and see each other, as in days... More

We visited Grant Park on a Sunday morning for their Farmers Market... it was amazing! I wished we hadn't already eaten - there were so many great places to eat and wonderful vendors. An absolute gem in the city! Highly recommend!

Nice place to go. There are toys for kids. a nice space on the grass for kids to run around or for you to just chill. There are restrooms available for free but they were awful.

Be prepared to arrive early to pitch your tent and set up your grill. Bring toilet paper. The restrooms are horrible, smelly, and damp. The music was great and the atmosphere was good. Good festival. Just need better restrooms.

Grant Park is a sweet hidden gem of a park in Atlanta. Most people know of Piedmont Park but I'm finding Grant Park to be my park destination of choice. It's less crowded, easy to get to, and has a variety of things to make everyone happy (a number of trails, plenty of trees and green space, athletic fields, playgrounds)... More

This is the oldest park in the area and the surrounding Victorian homes give it a special frozen time touch. I had the honor of staying in one of such beautiful houses for a couple of days. Walking through the park and playing around and just sitting around was great.

Don't expect miles and miles of places to go, as the revitalization efforts are still underway, but there are great neighborhoods to see with remodeled houses, and good eating at Six Feet Under and Tin Lizzy's. Great for bicycle riding though...
