I was here on a hot, humid day in May. I got the MARTA, and it was a bit of a walk in that sort of weather. I'd recommend getting a taxi or Uber rather than using public transport. The gardens and park are an...More

Piedmont Park has 2 dog parks; one for small dogs and the other for larger breeds. The park is in general well kept, has water stations and plenty benches along the trails. Super place for concerts and outdoor shows. Love it!

This park is very large with walkways through entire park. Tennis courts and ball fields available. Great place to bring dogs due to large dog park. Parking can be an issue.

Piedmont was described to me as Atlanta’s version of Central Park. There’s lots of open space for games, picnics, etc. There was a farmers’ market the day we visited (Saturday). A great getaway spot from the big city.

Lots of space to rollerblade, bike or walk your dog. It has a designated dog park. The Botanical Garden anchors one end. Great place to picnic or hang out and read a book.

The Belt line is your best bet. You are able to rent bikes from Ponce City Market and also enjoy great food, fun, and shopping.
