Beautiful place but the AC was broken and it was super hot. I would say it's in the woods but then again everything is in the woods. No lighting outside and can seem a little scary if you're not use to the country life.

Extremely friendly staff- thats the positive. EXTREMELY hilly course, you rarely have a flat lie. Carts were on there last legs. Greens were good, fairways not so much

course is not lengthy but it is really tough. some of the holes just beat you as soon as you step up to the tee box. greens are not overly tough but can fool you. very nice staff as well.

If you are Arnold, Tiger or Jack you will want to skip this course. But if you are the average golfer, or less, it is great. The fairways are not finely groomed, yet; The greens have a little maturing to do and are not perfect, yet; The clubhouse is brand new and not even unpacked and totally functional, yet; But this... The course conditions were horrible weeds and puddles of mud everywhere. No signs to direct you to the next holes. The workers were very rude and rushing us to play faster for more experienced players. Easily the worst experience I ever had on any golf course I have ever played on

No directional signs for green to next T-box forced us to drive all over the bloody course, guess that would make too much sense. Tree lined fairways ate many balls unless you hit straight down the fairways. Long rough also ate balls. Never again!

A group of us from out of town played at Sugar Creek because it was close to the airport. What a mistake we made. The pictures on the website must have been taken years ago and retouched to boot. The condition of the course was awful. Most of the greens had substantial dead spots throughout the entire greens. The fairways... More

Hole #1, at Sugar Creek, sets you at ease immediately. It is a straight Par-4, with the pin in sight. A straight hitter will be smiling, but the pine trees are waiting on the right, and the high fence of the tennis courts is on the left. Hole #2 sings a different song, however, --water hazard on the left, pine... More

November 9, 2007- We arrived to play at 8:45 AM and because of frost on the greens had to wait until 9:30 to start. In the mean time the staff at the club were very friendly and apologetic about the delay. They in turn gave us several tokens for range balls and we were able to warm up on their... More
