The visit to the museum and castle was very cheap, and for that you got some info and good views of the town. it wasn´t the most interesting castle I´ve been to, and there is no tour, you just read the Spanish and English signs....More

Went in and the lady said it was free entry, although only 2.35 euros anyway at other times. Great views from the top across the town and coast, informative albeit small museum on site also. Quite stony / rocky and uneven underfoot so wear decent...More

For the price you can't beat this, for just a couple of euros it is a tour of the castle and the nearby museum. We love the mini model of what it would have looked like in the past and you can see in every...More

Excellent views along the coast as you would expect of a castle by the sea. Great history, especially the story behind the damaged turret. Very hot during the heat of the day with little shade, and its a long walk up, so comfy shoes and...More

The fortress is pretty incredible. The video from the park service was perfect to orient visitors to the historical significance - but not too long for a 5 year old’s attention span. The view of the sea and the town is breathtaking. The best part,...More

We’ve spent in Almunecar 5 days, trying to view the main places of interest of the city and in my personal rating, it’s the most interesting historical landmark in the area. If not wrong, it openes at 10-13.00, after 18.00-21.00. We went here after 20...More

Just 2.35€ to enter...about 1 hour to visit. Well worth the time although a bit empty inside. Great views. Also includes visit to nearby archeological museum. They should really put a bit of effort into maintenance. The glass in the museum displays was very dirty.
