Nice little beach set away from the road .
Jul 2020
A small beach but very nice that you can see when you drive into the town from the motorway and coast road. Has a L shaped beach if you walk the full distance . Should take just 5 mins to walk this beach but if you continue along will take you from one end to the other approx 1hr . Dogs not allowed on any part during summer and the far end is with pebbles ..

Nice Hotel Near the Beach
Aug 2020
We stayed here for one night. Quick check in with receptionist who spoke English. Temperate checked. Receptionist carried our case up 2 floors. Lovely room with Reykjavik theme - room number 207. Big television. Great air conditioning. Quiet part of hotel although: thin walls, could hear everyone loudly at 1am. Hotel put up signs to be quiet but people ignored it. Thin walls - plumbing and toilet flushing noises are very loud. Comfy bed. Hoovering noises before 8.30am. Wifi password didn’t work. No public parking available on the street anywhere in August. We drove round in circles. Parked in an underground carpark (Parking Playa San Cristóbal) big spots, -2 level. Walked along seafront to hotel. Nice tostada breakfast included in the morning.

Nice lazy town with easy shopping and walking.
Jul 2020
This is a typical beach in Spain, nothing fancy . It has shops and bars and a night life on the beach restaurants and bars. The town is a good size all flat no hills with plenty of parking if not around in August . Plenty of paved walk ways around and a nice old town for cool shopping during the day. Plenty of hotels all very good standard but dont think you will get much sleep as the cars run all night and buses .Most tourists shops are now closing due to the Spanish gov making it difficult to live normally during this over the top covid alarm. Masks must be worn even on the beach unless sitting or swimming. Police scream from the cars if you dont have one covering your face 24/7 and they do fine you. Its a police state and the locals dont seam to care much and follow the rules like sheep.

Lovely resort

We spent a night at Hotel Casablanca. Worth a visit, nice beach bars, mini zoo and botanical gardens all within walking distance. And of course free Tapas 😀

A great family beach
Oct 2019
This is our favorite beach in town, but it all comes down to preferences. We just love the large paseo, with plenty of restaurants and shops all year. The beach is a stone and sand mix, which is our least favorite thing. Other than that it is great beach entry, easy to find a spot and usually easy parking (excluding August). It doesn't have the same party vibe as Puerta del Mar, so maybe a bit more low key. It is the hub of action in July for the festivities of Virgin del Carmen and in the summer there is a small night market as well as a kiddie entertainment area. great fun and water sports.

Clean and tidy beach
Oct 2019
A very nice clean beach just opposite the hotels and shops, also pretty quiet traffic wise. Not sand but stone and shingle with a very steep drop - only two steps or so in and you are up to your shoulders. Good for swimming if you are confident with very clear water but for a non swimmer you would need to stay near the edge. Not easy to get out of the sea either because of the steep shingle . A lovely promenade with shops, chemists, cafes and restaurants. Several hotels and blocks of apartments. Nice gardens all along and restaurants on the beach with sun beds and umbrellas in the season.

this beach houses some restaurants and chiringuitos, sunbad rentals and is cleaned every day in summer. We loved staying at this beach for some days.

good walk between the beach and the restaurants
May 2019 • Couples
Every day on recent holiday walked along here on the way to town. Friendly area. In the summer months, the Churro stalls are opened and children's rides are available
