We stopped here on our way out of the park. The trails are short and easy and the views in every direction are fantastic. A definite must do.

This one is simple. There's a short trail leading to the highest point in the park, where you can look out over the valley's beneath to the mountain ranges in the distance. This isn't the kind of spot where you're going to spend a huge...More

I thought this park has Indian's ruins only - it is not true! The park point is one of the best view point of Colorado plateau. The views for all four directions, really for hundreds miles on valleys, rocks, deserts, and far away mountains snow...More

If you're a flatlander or beach dweller, you'll be feeling the altitude during this doable hike up the hill. Elevation is 8545 ft. Take water with you - and enjoy the view!

The watchtower is closed, but you can gaze in through the windows, and turn around for the spectacular view. It's a bit steep going uphill to the point, but take it easy and you'll be good.

This is the highest point in The Park and a lookout for fires in the area. Bring your wide-angle camera and be prepared for altitude sickness by drinking lots of water and moving slowly. Really a spectacular spot for a birds-eye view.

This was hands down my favorite spot on our trip. The views are breath taking. If you visit anywhere near this area you have to see this point. Its just amazing.

This is a steep hike up but well worth the work. When it is clear you have the most magnificent views of Cortez and Shiprock. Also on the lookout tower is a map showing all the fire locations.
