The cemetery is very conveniently located and worth a quick stop or longer. We popped in to see the grave of Francis Scott Key. Be sure to read the sign and push the button for music. Very special way to honor a special Maryland citizen.

A great place to walk around and visit many graves of soldiers from the civil war. Much history to see. Most are in one area. Do some research before or call ahead for literature.

The main attraction was seeing Francis Scott Key's burial site. Appeared to be a well maintained cemetery. It was definitely worth a visit.

This cemetery is full of historic people associated with the growth of Frederick Md. There is a section of Civil War grave stones which are very interesting to read.

The cemetery is the resting place of Francis Scott Key. The cemetery is huge with many interesting dates and names, but it's also a very lovely place to take a long walk.

I went to this cemetery for one thing to see the burial place of Key. It is right at the entrance and there is a small parking area there (or at least what I thought was parking). I read the history signs and got pictures...More
