My wife and I went we love animals. On arrival at check-in, everyone was so friendly. We did the vip best experience ever and highly recommended. We were the only ones which I felt bad these guys work of tips. We met Adam our tour guide, and he went far and beyond for us to have a great experience. We so Jerico the Rhino and feed him to the lions tigers and hyhenna and much more. He even delivered us such while we watch tiger splash . Then we feed the lion Journey. Cool place and hand on experience with the animals

OUTSTANDING WILDLIFE PARK! Absolutely stunning. As a volunteer of one of the AZA zoos in Florida, I was at first wondering what this is all about, I couldnt' have been more pleased. The grounds are exquisite, spread over 104 acres. The habitats are stunning, all blending in with nature, and natural from the stone shelters, to the wooden structures. The giraffes have so much room to roam with the zebras, noone is territorial, the zebras are not crowded it's all harmonious. The safari bus takes you through were the reticulated giraffe species, follow the bus, and get their balanced snacks made of grains and oats and molasses as a treat to greet the visitors as we hand them acacia leaves on branches. The guides are informative and very well versed with all of the facts and trivia on the African animals. As we continued to visit the park the shuttle busses are ample and you can also choose to walk. LOTS of shelter for sitting, eating and bathrooms are abundant. THE FOOD choices are out of this world for a safari park. You have many choices from hot dogs, to ceasar chicken salads, ice cream, you name it. Everything is clean. The tigers are amazing and in a natural habitat as well. You eat near them as they wander (AT WILL) through their habitat and greet visitors. The shows are fun, and engaging, humorous too. Prayeri was there and greeted us, (OWNER) and was so engaging. The gift shop has AMPLE amounts of goodies that satisfy all budgets. THIS PLACE IS A MUST SEE!

We enjoyed our first visit to Out of Africa.
We were lucky that the day worked out, a Thursday before the park would be closed for two days due to rain. You drive to the main parking lot, park and head to the entrance ticketing area. (Both our AAA or AARP membership gave us a 20% discount for our party of 4.) We were given a map and schedule of what would be happening with times and location. For us things started around 11 and included a critter talk, the safari bus tour, tiger splash, a reptile talk and a carnivore walk and feed. We left via the shuttle back to the entrance at 3. We had a light lunch snack at one of the snack bars. The shows are the key. It’s a must to see them. The animal enclosures are utilitarian in nature. The shuttle bus guides know where to look for animals in the enclosures to see the animals.

My tip is to have small bills to tip the drivers and guides that go the extra mile helping.

Great enclosures for the inhabitants. All inhabitants looked well cared for and happy. Could see some of the animals very close up. The safari tour was very informative.

The animals seem to be treated ok at least. But you should go see them in an AZA-accredited zoo instead, where your money goes further in species research and conservation

Out of Africa was an amazing experience! We went on a Friday and actually got to see them feed the Lions, Tigers & Hyenas! The park staff was friendly and answered all of our questions & the Safari Tour was unbelievable as we were able to feed the Giraffes! The Zebras were beautiful & came right up to the tour bus and all of the horned animals were unique. The most exiting part was Tiger Splash and seeing the full grown Lions. What shocked us was there were no bothersome flies or awful smells while we ate at picnic tables within view of the animals. This experience is way better than a zoo where I leave feeling sorry for some of the animals. These animals have really nice habitats and you can see they are well cared for. So neat seeing them up close and personal! It’s a great stop right on the way to Sedona from Phoenix! You won’t regret it.

We enjoyed the Tiger Splash. The day was too hot to spend much time seeing the animals. Misting stations helped us cool down in several areas, but it was quite a distance to more cool drinking water when our bottles ran empty. Our shuttle driver was great, personable and funny.

Great tour of the wildlife park with lots of info from the guides about all the animals. Fun being up close and able to feed the giraffe and see the zebras. Due to the heat, not able to view some of the wildlife. Definitely worth the trip. Also appreciated the admission discount during my birthday month.
